About Us

Visionary Minds Empowerment and Development Initiative (VMEDI) is a Non-Government Organization (NGO) promoting Digital Inclusion for Underserved Youth: Closing the Technology Gap through Digital Literacy and STEM based Programs in marginalized and slum communities in Uganda. The organization aims to bridge gaps not only in access but also in education, skill development, and opportunities through strategic interventions, targeted programs, and community engagement, we aspire to empower the youth with the tools and knowledge they need to thrive in an increasingly digital world. Thus, in collaboration with slum community organizations, partner organizations, VMEDI runs digital Literacy program/ ICT skilling for youths in different slum communities in Kampala. Training, equipping and motivating the beneficiaries with skills in digital literacy for: education and employment purposes, personal and human capital Development, and reduce the gender and skills gap
